Overview

PDF Genie Online ("pdfgenieonline.com", "we", "our", "the service") is a free, browser-based PDF editing tool available at pdfgenieonline.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Your Files Stay on Your Device

All PDF processing in PDFEditor takes place entirely within your web browser. Your files are loaded into browser memory using the Web File API and processed using client-side JavaScript libraries. No file content is ever uploaded to our servers. We do not have access to the documents you edit, and we never store, read, or transmit your files.

Files are temporarily held in your browser's IndexedDB storage while you navigate between pages, and are automatically deleted after the editor loads them. Closing your browser tab clears all data.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to operate the service:

• Usage data: Anonymous page view data via standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, page visited). This data is used solely to monitor site health and is not linked to any individual.
• Cookies: We use cookies only where necessary for the site to function. No tracking or profiling cookies are set by PDFEditor itself.

Google AdSense

PDFEditor displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

Data Retention

We do not store personal data on our servers beyond standard server log retention (typically 30 days). No account information is collected because no accounts exist.

Third-Party Services

PDFEditor uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google AdSense — advertising platform. Google Privacy Policy
• Vercel — hosting provider. Standard server logs may be retained by Vercel in accordance with their privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

PDFEditor is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
